Boca do Lobo Design Studio was inspired by the surrealist movement to create the safest and most resisting place to all the liquid modernity and volatility around us: the Dalí luxury home safe. As the story goes, Salvador Dalí sat at the table looking upon the soft, half melted Camembert cheese. Suddenly the idea of melting watches came to him and he immediately got to work. And so The Persistence of Memory – his most iconic artwork - was born. The surrealistic home safe, just like the painting, is a symbol of the relativity of space and time. Nothing is taken for granted, people change, situations change, everything around us changes in the blink of an eye. However, we can always count on one special place or person in our lives, something or someone that brings us the security we need… Dalí represents everything standing against uncertainty and everything reliable to us. The luxury home safe is made using the brass foundry technique and finished in polished brass and gold plating. Inside, secret compartments and 6 watch winders that can be regulated in order to take the best care of your automatic luxury watches. The interior is, of course, customizable so the user may have the ultimate hyper-luxury bespoke experience.
